The Network layer provides visual models of conductors, poles, and markers for objects in proximity to the network. When used in conjunction with the Roames Imagery layers a review of assets and surrounding areas can be performed.
The following layers are available:
Network
Models of the ROAMES captured poles and conductors are presented in a 3D view. The colouring of the conductors represents the ROAMES voltage classification.
When a ROAMES captured pole can be matched to the asset management system these details are displayed when left-clicking on the pole record.
Conductors
Conductor Attachment Heights
The ROAMES calculated conductor attachment heights are available. Hover the mouse over the attachments to see the height (in meters).
Conductor Ground Clearance
The lowest ground clearance of the conductor is displayed. This is calculated against the ROAMES captured terrain. Note that this does not necessarily correspond to the mid-point of a bay.
Conductor Length
The length of ROAMES modeled conductors (from attachment point to attachment point) is displayed. A length is provided for the conductor.
Clearance
Intrusions Within 8m
All objects within 8m of the conductor are identified by a placemark. Note this can include both vegetation, streetlights, buildings, and other surrounding natural and built environment.
Note that this does not refer to vegetation intrusions.
Distances
A line is drawn from the conductor to the intrusion. When hovering over the line the distance (in meters) is displayed.
Intruding Cubes
To provide more context the objects in proximity are modelled with a green cube representation.
